ALEXANDRA GETS SANITIZER STATIONS

Due to the recent Coronavirus outbreak and regulations adopted by government to combat the spread of this deadly pandemic hand sanitiser stations will be launched tomorrow in Alexandra tomorrow.

MEC for Human Settlements, Urban Planning and CoGTA Lebogang Maile and  MEC for Economic Development, Environment and Agriculture Morakane Mosupyoe  will officiate the launch of Sanitizer Stations in Alexandra Township.

An intergovernmental response intervention to provide the necessary tools targeting vulnerable households, especially those residing in informal settlements, Gauteng Government will be rolling-out Sanitizer Stations to benefit more than 46000 households in Alexandra.

MEC’s Maile and Mosopye will visit Helen Joseph Hostel to officially install and handover these Sanitizer Stations. Other areas include Stjwetla informal settlement and Pan African Mall.
