He emphasizes the importance of understanding customer needs, stating, “This product is for the people, that’s why that’s how I did that.” By engaging with his target market, he created a product that meets their demands. Chilli The Bite offers various flavors, including Major Calibre, Garlic Calibre, and Sweet Calibre.Chilli The Bite prioritizes sustainability through its retainable bottling system. Customers can return empty bottles and receive a discount of R10 on their next purchase. This initiative not only reduces waste but also encourages customer loyalty. Kgothatso aims to empower township economies through events and job creation his commitment to community development. He works with young people, teaching them sales skills and collaborating with talented DJs for events.The demand for Chilli The Bite is high, with clients including notable celebrities like KG the Vibe and MasMusiq. To meet this demand, the entrepreneur plans to expand his operations, potentially hiring more staff and investing in a larger warehouse. His vision is to make Chilli The Bite a household name while promoting sustainability and community empowerment.Despite the success, Chilli The Bite faces challenges, including limited manufacturing space and high demand. The entrepreneur has learned to adapt, using creative solutions like bucket planting to overcome space constraints. His experience demonstrates the importance of resilience and innovative thinking in entrepreneurship.He views his business as a calling, stating, “I felt like it’s a calling, this is my calling, so that’s why like my energy is like this.” He finds fulfillment in providing people with the flavors they crave, particularly during weekends and social gatherings.
