Vusi Reshumela Qwabe, aka Yooh Kwenzakalani, is an artist from Endulwini in Thembisa who has had the privilege of witnessing the power of music bringing people together. “Last year in November, a group of talented dancers caught my attention while performing to my hit song “Yooh Kwenzakalani”. What started with just 3 passionate individuals has now grown into a group of dynamic dancers, known as Endulwini Crew Dancers”, Vusi explains.
Their journey began with the music video for “Yooh Kwenzakalani ” and “Tembisawapopayi”, where the 3 initial dancers showcased their skills. As the group expanded, so did their opportunities. One of the dancers’ notable achievements was landing a spot in the Mofaya advertisement, highlighting their talents and exposure to a broader audience.
Endulwini Crew Dancers is a testament to the power of passion and dedication. “We’re grateful for the opportunity we’ve received. If you’re interested in collaborating with us, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Whether it’s music videos, adverts or events, we’re ready to bring our energy and creativity to your project,” Qwabe tells The Olifants.
The dancers have been nominated in the 7th UNGMA Awards for the Best Rising Star. To vote for them, SMS “KAMVA” to 45633. SMS costs R1.50 each. Fans can also send the SMS to vote for Kwenzakalani, who has been nominated in the Best Electronic Music Artist category, to 45633.
