Thembelihle Dladla, popularly known as “Sontshikazi,” a South African singer-songwriter born in Soweto but raised in Thembisa, has dropped two singles as we usher in the festive season. The first single, “Ngiyavuma” (Original Mix), by Sontshikazi & HyperSoul-X, is officially dropping tomorrow, September 16, 2025. Ngiyavuma is also available on (Lieutenant -X 3 Step Remix). The track is released under the Sunlock Label from Italy. Another track, “Ukuthula” (Original Mix, by Mosco Lee & Nubz MusiQ ft Sontshikazi follows the next day, 17 October 2025. It is released from the South African Music Label “DrumKulture”.
Sontshikazi, known for her Afro Sound with a blend of Afro Tech/House, will surely have your hands clapping and toes tapping this festive season and beyond. The songs are available on Traxsource & Beatport for pre-order and will also be available across all streaming platforms. As if that’s not enough, on 31 October 2025, the songstress will be releasing another track, El-Gueta x Limpopo Rhythm ft Sontshikazi – Timeless Music, which will be released under YHV Records. The track will also be another gem to vibe to. Sontshikazi will be going back to the studio at the end of October after four months of not recording music material.
She has an EP that will be released in France next year. The soulful songstress is putting in a lot of work after she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on the 6th of July 2025. With so much music material coming out from Sontshikazi, Mzansi is sure to get groovy this festive season.
