2ML WATER TOWER UNVEILED IN THEMBISA

08 October 2025, MMC for Water and Sanitation, Cllr Thembi Msane, officially commissioned the brand-new Liliba Water Tower in #Thembisa — a major milestone in improving water infrastructure and service delivery. The 2ML tower will significantly boost water pressure and reliability for residents in Liliba, Emangweni, Emoyeni, Isekelo, and Endulweni, ensuring that thousands of households benefit from a steady water supply. What makes this even more remarkable is that water flow will remain uninterrupted even during load-shedding, thanks to the generator installed on-site. This project demonstrates the city’s ongoing commitment to providing sustainable, reliable basic services to its communities, said the #CoE in a statement.
