Sabelo Zaza, who goes by the stage name “Nazzy Kodac”, is a multi-talented South African musician who hails from Mbizana in the Eastern Cape but has since moved to Gauteng in pursuit of his dreams.
“I started making music around 2015, messing around with beats and writing lyrics as a hobby. It eventually grew into something more serious. Thanks to the push I got from friends and loved ones.” He tells The Olifants. Nazzy Kodac draws his inspiration from artists like Sjava, Zuki, and Kanye West. He is into Afro pop, Hip Hop, and R&B, trying to blend local vibes with international sounds.” I’ve released a few singles, and I’m working on a project that’s dropping soon. I’ve worked with local artists like Snerah and DJ Soso. Internationally, I’ve worked with Will Cee and C Jay weAfro (Malawi and Zimbabwe), and I’m looking forward to more collaborations.”
