Mrs Curve Global South Africa 2025 finalist, Lucy Nkomzwayo, originally from Chloorkop in Kempton Park, but now based in Midrand, continues to inspire and uplift communities as she hosted a successful fundraising event in support of Lungisani Indlela Charity, an organisation dedicated to empowering vulnerable children and families. The event was themed “Equipping Tomorrow’s Generation Today,” and went beyond fundraising – it became a platform for deep reflection and dialogue around impacting the next generation, building strong succession, and creating sustainable change. Attendees were moved by Lucy’s heartfelt message on legacy, empowerment, and the role of women in shaping the future.
” When we pour into the lives of the next generation, we are sowing seeds of leadership, compassion, and hope. True impact is not measured by what we achieve today, but by what we inspire others to become tomorrow,” said Nkomzwayo. Lucy’s initiative successfully raised funds and awareness for Lungisani Indlela’s ongoing programmes that focus on education, mentorship, and community upliftment. Her leadership and authenticity continue to shine as she uses her platform to make a tangible difference in people’s lives.
As one of the inspiring finalists for Mrs Curve Global South Africa 2025, Lucy is now preparing to take to the national stage on November 13, 2025, when this year’s Queen will be crowned. With her unwavering commitment to purpose-driven advocacy and empowerment, many are hopeful that she will bring the crown home.
