KHANYISILE: THEMBISA CONTENT CREATOR SHINES

Khanyisile Khumalo from Thembisa is a digital content creator who connects with her followers through authentic, high-energy content. Unfortunately, she could not further her studies after finishing grade 12 and has since taken to social media to entertain and teach through skits, storytelling (inganekwane), and vlogs. “On skits, it’s basically kasi lifestyle, whereby there’s a mom who lives with her daughter who’s a lesbian and goes by the name of Khanyisile. There’s also a neighbour who’s always on Khanyisile’s mom’s nerves. Khanyisile’s mom is toxic and a pretender. On the vlogs, it’s just Kasi’s lifestyle, showcasing my hood, Thembisa, and how I live my life.” Khumalo explains.

The digital content creator’s target audience ranges from primary school children to elders. She started creating digital content as her sister saw potential in her and knew how much she wanted to be recognised. “I’ve been in campaigns that I never thought I would be in so soon, such as Kit-Kat, Nescafé. I’ve worked with FNB as well and got invited by DJ Zintle to her events, oh what a blessing. Shoutout to DJ Zintle,” she tells The Olifants. Khanyisile may not say what her future plans are; however, stay tuned for more content.
